Accessibility Statement
WebAuthorings is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we actively incorporate best practices informed by the evolving WCAG 3.0 draft.
Our Accessibility Commitment
- Use of semantic HTML and accessible patterns for navigation, dialogs, and forms.
- Support for full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images; decorative images are marked so assistive technologies can ignore them.
- Text that maintains sufficient color contrast and remains readable when zoomed up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Accessible media practices for product videos and demos (captions and/or transcripts where applicable).
- Regular testing using automated tools (WAVE, axe, Lighthouse) and manual checks, including screen reader testing (NVDA/VoiceOver).
Known Issues We Are Improving
As we release new features and products, some areas may not yet be fully accessible. We are currently working on:
- Expanding and refining image descriptions on product and gallery pages.
- Ensuring all interactive components (e.g., pop-ups, accordions, cookie banner) have proper roles, labels, and keyboard support.
- Improving form labels, error messaging, and instructions during checkout and account creation.
- Adding/validating captions or transcripts for select product videos and demo media.
Feedback & Help
Your feedback helps us improve. If you experience difficulty using our website, notice content or functionality that you believe is not accessible, or need an alternative way to access information or complete a purchase, please contact us:
When you reach out, please include the page URL, a brief description of the issue, and (if applicable) your browser, device, and assistive technology.
Timelines for Fixes
- Immediate (within 1–2 weeks): Correct alt text, adjust color contrast where needed, fix broken/incorrect links, ensure visible focus states.
- Medium-term (within 1–2 months): Improve interactive components (accordions, modals, cookie banner) to ensure complete keyboard and screen reader compatibility; enhance form labels and error associations.
- Ongoing: Quarterly accessibility audits, staff training on accessible content publishing, and continuous improvements aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA and emerging WCAG 3.0 guidance.
Alternative Access
If any part of the site is not accessible to you, we can provide product information, recommendations, and support via email or our contact form. Upon request, we can also provide accessible formats for key documents (e.g., PDFs, instructions) when feasible.
Third-Party Platforms & Services
Our site may link to or embed third-party services (e.g., video hosting, payment processors, shipping calculators). While we encourage these providers to offer accessible content and services, we do not control their platforms. If you encounter accessibility barriers on third-party sites reached from ours, please let us know so we can raise the issue with the provider and offer alternatives where possible.
